Personal touches for your ceremony
Vows, readings, rings, handfasting, and ways for the people close to you to take part.
The details you want in the ceremony
Bring the reading you love, the ritual you want to share, or the people you want to hear from. We’ll help connect those parts so the ceremony reflects what matters between you.
Promises in your own voice
Your vows can be your own words, short phrases you repeat after the officiant, or words you share together. We can help with a draft, write vows for your ceremony, or guide words you’ve already chosen. We’ll agree the writing support with you as part of the service.
Words and a shared gesture
Tell us what the handfasting means to you. We’ll help bring that meaning into the words and guide the cord gesture before, during, or after the vows. We can also work out hand and cord positions that let each person take part comfortably.
A familiar voice in the ceremony
A friend who has become family might read, or your gathering might join in a shared response. Tell us who you want involved. We can help with the words, connect their contribution to the ceremony, and let them know when to begin.
Individual and shared promises
With several partners, some promises may be to the group and others between particular people. We’ll help you bring both into the ceremony, with introductions and transitions that let each relationship be recognized and each person know who they’re speaking to.
Words for the life you share now
You can keep earlier vows, make new ones, or bring the two together. A memory you want to share can be part of the welcome. We’ll use the names and relationship terms that fit you now and help you find words for what you want to say today.
