About Promise & Place
Mobile, customized queer ceremonies in Kitsap County. We listen to what matters to you and help bring it into the ceremony.
A ceremony shaped around you
Queer ceremonies are our specialty. We work with the relationships you have, including commitments between several partners, and the people you call family.
We want to understand what matters most to you. Together, we can work out how your words, traditions, and people fit into a ceremony that feels unmistakably yours.
The people you call family
Tell us who you want beside you and how you want them involved. A friend might read, chosen family might share words of support, or several partners might make promises individually and together. We’ll help connect those contributions and guide each person through their part.
Words that fit who you are now
The names you use, your relationships, and what you want to say may have changed since an earlier ceremony. We can help you find words for the life you’re sharing now, whether you’re renewing vows or recognizing a commitment for the first time.
Someone to guide the ceremony
We’ll guide the ceremony from the welcome to the closing, including readings, vows, and any rituals you choose. There’s room to pause when someone needs a moment.
Kitsap County is home base. We travel to your chosen location and can discuss places farther afield.
